meadow east apartments was nothing but a big joke. the apartment manager was the most incompitant person i have ever had to deal with. we were hardly ever able to contact her. she told us to move in on the 7th at 10am and wasnt there when we arrived after driving 4 hours to get there. when she finally did get there she said she wasnt expecting us until the afternoon. she is absolutly worthless and shes got an attitude. the apartment wasnt cleaned like it was supposed to have been. my stove didnt work. the wiring on the fridge is a FIRE HAZARD and is completely illegal. there was black mold growing in the bathroom that they were trying to cover up. the doors were thin and never closed properly, so anyone could break in. the hallways were never cleaned and were disgusting. i had kids running up and down the stairs all day and hanging out infront of my bedroom window screaming. i could hear the people upsatirs everytime they went to the bathroom. the neighbor upstair was planting a garden on my back terrace in full view of my living room so my curtains had to be shut at all times and i did not feel safe sitting on MY back terrace. also this woman had mouse traps in her garden and let her three year old come play in her garden, giving my husband and i no privacy. everything on the website is a complete lie. it is not a clean quiet environment and the staff is not efficient. this place is the most disgusting, dangerous, noisy place ive ever been. infact it was so terrible that i lived in it for a day and had my stuff moved out the next week. do not rent from these people. its poorly put together and its a complete rip off I rented from summer '07 through summer '07. ...
