Guys, I swear to you that this is my honest advice: DO NOT RENT HERE! THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT. The only exception to that rule is if you are low-income and want to take advantage of their cheap renting options. Otherwise, if you can afford to pay the full rent, go look elsewhere. I HATE LIVING HERE! It’s the worst decision I could've made. I am waiting for the lease to expire since I don’t want to pay a couple of thousand in fines. Here are some of the things you need to know. Ask others who live here, this is the honest truth! and dont fall for the false reviews put in by the management people. Ask someone who lives here! - The walls are paper thin! you hear everything happening in the apartments next to yours! The paint comes off even if you accidentally spill water on it! The walls are so thin, you can make huge dents trying to just drive in a nail - The mgmt people are very unhelpful and often rude. They don’t believe in customer service and in fact often quote the lease agreement and the state law to tell you what they are OBLIGED to do. There’s no concept of service here. They only do what they have to. - The Heat/AC units are really bad. Expect high utility bills and frequent breakdowns. And what’s more, they wont even fix them for you immediately, since they tell you that the break down of the unit doesn’t constitute an 'emergency'. So be ready to tolerate 100 degree weather without AC! - You need to carry your own trash to the central dumpster! there is no trash disposal in the buildings! You have to put the trash in your car and take it to the often full, stinking and disgusting trash chute. I have never lived in a place without trash disposal in atleast every building. this is the most disgusting part of living here - The pool and gym are nice, but overcrowded - The development has a reputation for 'low income housing', since a large number of apartments are rented out at huge discounts. If you care about your image, don’t live here. I personally don’t have an issue with this, but others I know have been taunted about living what they think of as a 'project' - The apartments are new, but not well designed and are not built to last. You will notice that the materials are good looking but cheap and non-durable. Plan a visit to a model apartment and notice the details. At the very least, you should do your research before coming here. This isn’t the worse place out there, but trust me, this is no dream home! Don’t fall for the trap like i did. you will regret it. Unlike me, you've been warned! I rented from winter '06 through summer '07. ...
