I lived in the townhomes. The unit was filthy on the move-in date. It was an old building and creaked a lot! There are cracks in the foundation, ceiling, walls, floors. Maintainance rarely perfomed tasks on time; I had to wait several days to months before maintainance actually completed the work. The walls are thin and management does not enforce the rules. Several times per week I was awaken in the early morning hours (i.e., 2 A.M.) by a sexually permiscuous neighbor. The neighbor also blasted her television and radio, and left it on when she was not home, invited loud friends over during the night, screamed and argued all the time, and talked on her phone very loudly. I knocked on the wall, asking her to quiet down, called the police, and complained to management. When I complained, management claimed they sent her several notices and phoned her, but it did not help. University Park claimed, before I moved in that there was courtesy patrol during the night and early morning hours - they lied. On several occasions, they overcharged me on the utility bill. I would not recommend University Park to my worst enemy. Management and maintainance needs to be retrained. Funny, their motto is "Professionally managed by Pickering & Co." I rented from fall 10 through summer 11. ...
