If you'd like to pay $900+ a month to live next to a dark, abandoned lot where your car may vandalized and/or burglarized, this is the place for you! And while security may be lax, the owners are more than vigilant about enforcing parking policy. If a visitor doesn't have a parking permit, they'll be towed in the blink of an eye. And it'll only cost $240 to get their car back! And if petty crime isn't enough, how about paper thin walls! You'll know exactly what your neighbors are up to at every hour of the day and night as they climb the stairwells, do laundry, and slam doors open and closed. And since many are medical students or residents, you'll often here them coming and going in the wee hours as you try in vain to sleep. But rest assured that while many of your neighbors are grad students and residents there are also plenty of underclassmen who will happily throw loud parties on any given night of the week. I rented from winter '07 through summer '07. ...

I've lived here for about a year, and up until a month after I renewed for another year, I was very happy with these apartments. They are spacious, clean, relatively quiet, have nice amenities, and most importantly they had a really helpful and attentive leasing office. But then the management completely changed and a bunch of new people came in, and now they are completely disorganized and rude. They sent me a threatening letter full of legal jargon and a threat to evict if I didn't pay $195 of fines I had absolutely no idea about. It wasn't until I went in that I found out they had been charging me for a pet for 8 months without me knowing it. This month they screwed up and overcharged my roommate by 50 dollars. They've also decided to quietly take out their utility billing cap, which used to be 100, without informing anyone in the community about it, even though when I signed just a year ago it was a huge selling point. The gas bill is the most ridiculous thing, you don't just pay for whatever gas you use, you have to split it with the whole building. For the past 5 months my gas bill alone has been near or over 100, INCLUDING for the month of May, despite the fact that I haven't had my gas on in 2 months and it's been hot as hell outside. At this point I'm contemplating breaking my lease just so I can get out of being under such awful management. NOT recommended. I rented from summer '06 through spring '08. ...
