Quality: Wood is stapled into the wall. Back stairs shake and are cracking. Wood never finished so it looks dusty. AC never worked and vents (the tubing coming into the heating/cooling unit) are so messed up they cover where you are supposed to have washer and dryer. By the way they were supposed to give us a washer and dryer and never did over a years time. Some windows would not open and never fixed. No electricity in upstairs bathroom for over 2 months. Price:Terrible its next to a block that is section 8. they want 1300-1600 a month and 3900 down. Terrible and greedy. And you have to pay utilities on the place which are not cheap. Location: next to a block but across from a nice irish pub. people in the block are nice and never bothered us, however for 1300 it isnt a pretty site. Social life: it was good. right across from the bar, perfect for st. pattys day. Landlord: wouldnt fix things that were broken. even when we documented it. Held rent when they wouldnt fix electricity in bathroom for 2 months and told us that was no reason to hold rent. Toilet flushed constantly from october till december they wouldnt fix it until they got there water bill. THEY LIE LIE LIE! stay away. they even made my roomate and I an offer to buy the property. needless to say we turned it down. People downstairs are ready to sue the landlord. Stay away at all cost, much better choices out there! Parking: its a drive way with room for everyone, however people from the bar dont seem to get that someone lives there and decide to park there and block you in. have to call cops and get them towed. My roomate and I make good money and decided that we are going to flip houses when the market gets good. We asked what they wanted for the house. we figured 160-170 at the most. They said 300k, we laughed packed our stuff and left. I rented from winter '07 through winter '08. ...
