A group of us neighbors got to talking in the hall's tonight. We talked about about run in's with security. None of us have complained about any noise on each other and discussed how a simple phone call to each other. Would take care of any problem if ever their was an issue. We all have gotten knocks on our door at one time or another. They have security here, and it seems if security hear's anything in the hall's. They have the right to tell you that you are being to loud. Even if a neighbor doesn't complain. We all agreed that security should not be aloud to bother you in your private residence at their discretion. Especially without a complaint from a neighbor. We all know security is here and we all agreed they should not be aloud to walk the halls, but all agreed on them keeping an eye on the outside of biulding. We should be given a pager or cell phone # for the security guard and feel they should have a office to go to in the building. Instead of walking around at night like they are checking on inmates in a jail. If someone did need to contact security this would be the perfect way to do so. We spoke how a matter of fact it is that no one can even here anyone unless you are in the hallway. It would at least make us feel we didn't have to walk on egg shells and worry about getting a unwelcome visit. A nieghbor even said they moved from one apartment to another on the opposite street side simply to have a doorway that was down the hall away from their living area so they would stop getting security at their door saying they were being to loud. They even said they asked their neighbors politely about the matter and the neighbors said they never complained. Only to say they had same issue's especially if they were on their balcony talking on the phone or simply visiting with a friend. They would say security walked out from below and said you are being to loud. It does echo between the buildings here on the balconys but that is just a given and we all know and understand it echos out there. We all spoke how most people would just move to another place all together but we all said we love our apartments here and it's true we do, but we all agreed on these issues. ...
