Dingy small apartments were everything takes turns to malfunction. Not to mention the Housing Department does EVERYTHING they can to fine you and get money. There is completely no sense of privacy: my friend has been walked in on half naked because maintenance people walk in because they have keys and don't bother knocking. I don't even drive and I know parking is terrible. It's a dry campus so there's no real parties here at all. They have house inspections often- I suspect in hopes of fining some people. Even if you use school approved items on your wall( like the blue rubbery stuff to stick posters up) they will still make you pay for 'damages to property' or something like that- They expect your apartment to look completely pristine and new, even though they use cheap white paint that falls apart on its own. Another way they make money I guess. If you try to challenge them they will play dumb until you get frustrated then they'll turn it around and threaten to call the police because you've raised your voice at them, so you're going to having to end up paying anyway. Moving out once my lease is over. They make you sign a binding lease for two semesters. Try not to stay on AASU campus EVER. Completely not worth the money or effort. I rented from fall 11 through fall 11. ...

I hate living here. There are several people who do not do their job. Have trouble to get maintenance and people from the head office do not do their job the way they need to do. Really bad mold problem in most buildings at compass pointe. NEVER AGAIN I rented from summer '07 through fall '07. ...

It is good for freshman year, but after that living with three different minds can be a pain(not always the case, but a high percentage of it). Live here for one year and get off campus. It is very costly and expect you to pay for a meal plan when the apartments have full-functional kitchens. Now they are expecting for students to pay for rent a semester at a time! I rented from fall '03 through fall '04. ...
