I read all of the reviews prior to moving here and I decided to give this place a chance and not let the negative reviews scare me away, but after living here a little over a year I have seen that everything that was said was correct. Bellamay Grand has it's good and bad, unfortunately the bad greatly exceeds the good! So I will say if you're just looking for a spacious apartment and that's it then you just may be satisfied with Bellamay Grand. However, if you're looking for the luxury/ elegant apartment living like they advertise, or just looking to get what you'll be paying top market prices for then this is not the place. Bellamay Grand is a complex that management has allowed to run down to a section8, HUD, or project home living, and it is definitely not worth the money spent to live here. At some point during the week: EVERY WEEK the gate is broken. The gym/fitness center and pool area is like an after hours club house or hang out spot for a large group of unattended kids to hang out, fight and destroy the place after office hours, therefore hardly any of the equipment there is in working condition. There is a weekly over flow of garbage piled up at the compactor and the two extra dumpsters, as well as a constant flow of debris throughout the complex that never seems to get picked up. I've come home to people frequently hanging out in the stairway smoking marijuana, leaking garbage bags left in the breezeway for days; so you can just imagine how nasty the breezeway and stairwell gets, no lights in the breezeway for well over a month, dogs chained up outside on the grounds of the first floor as if it's in a private yard, dog poop in the parking lot thats getting stepped in and ran over daily and spread all over the road DAILY! It's almost impossible to come home and not step in or run over dog poop because certain tenants let their dog take a crap in between parked cars and in the middle of the road. I've have never seen anything like that and I think it's quite disgusting. The dog poop is so bad here you can't look anyway on the grounds of this complex without seeing piles of it or smelling it everywhere you go, and management does nothing to take action against it, a long with many other complaints that is presented to them. I feel like I paying to live in the "ghetto". Sheriff's Officer's are called out here too often to feel like this is a safe and secure complex. Some tenants are definitely not courteous to the people living around them because too often I'm being woken up with loud talking and laughter in the breezeway at 2 am or later, cars have been vandalized here: my windshield has been broken, my car has been scratched and dented on numerous occasions since I've been here, I've also had neighbors who have complained about damages done to their vehicles. Parking spaces are often taken up with people using two spaces, they have no problem with sitting on or laying against your vehicle, and instead of them taking the garbage to the trash compactor it gets thrown in the wooded area for rodents to get into and spread everywhere. To give my honest perception of the upkeep of this complex the appropriate term would have to be filthy! As well as poorly managed and maintained. The entrance and clubhouse is beautiful and very well kept, but if you are interested in making this place your home I strongly recommend that you drive through the frequently broken gate and take the time to ride through every part of the complex, get out and walk the grounds and the parking lot, drive by the trash area, walk through the breezeways, visit the clubhouse after office hours because there is always a crowd of kids letting nonresidents into the gym, fitness center, and pool. Observe how many apartments are vacant here, talk to your potential neighbors about their experience here.. then decide if Bellamay Grand is the place for you. That is something that I strongly regret not doing before moving here. With that being said, the inside of the apartment isn't as bad as what goes on on the outside of it. The apartment itself is very spacious and nice (luxury, definitely not). The few negatives about the actual apartment are; the master bedroom feels like a sauna and the AC doesn't seem to reach that side of the apartment, water leaks inside the windowsill when it rains, the walls are thin and conversation from Neighbors can be heard very clearly, large black ants coming in from who knows where is a major problem during the summer, and the AC unit has broke a few time, but maintenance has always fixed it in a timely manner. Overall I think Bellamay Grand management has always been pleasant, however, their pleasantness has never followed up with taking action towards the upkeep of the complex or the large number of complaints to where it would be worth the money spent to live here. Maintenance has been great about getting things fixed for me in a timely manner, the office staff often have events, activities and dinners for the tenants and there is always a monthly inspirational quote upon entering into the complex, and I certainly like that about Bellamay Grand. Nonetheless, that is not enough to make me consider living here a third year. I absolutely hate the building that I live in and I hate coming home to the aroma of dog poop mixed with cigarettes everyday. I hate not being able to enjoy what I'm paying for because other tenants have little respect for where they live and the entire complex is suffering, which is probably the reason for the mass exit of tenants and explains the large number of vacant apartments that have been vacant for months here. A lot of people are moving out and very few are moving in, and I would not recommend living here to anyone. I rented from winter 2014 through winter 2016. ...

Today around 10:30am I visited this apartment complex. There was a man in the second office to the left. I asked him for the current price of a unit. Instead of answering, he immediately took out one of those info cards. I let him know that I have already seen the unit and only needed the current price and I did not want to fill out another card. He kept trying to push the card on me and I kept refusing. He finally told me the market price. I asked him were there any discounts and he stated yes. Then he refused to tell me what they were. He stated that he could not give me any more prices without me filling out the card or he would be fired. I could see that he simply did not care to give me something as simple as rates. I can not see the owners walking away from someone who clearly was interested in renting. Because of him, I will never stay here. I will ensure that my friends don't either! If this is what happened before I moved in, what would happen after. ...
