When I met with the office staff at Trillium, they seemed very friendly and willing to help me out a little bit so that I could get an apartment there. Because I didn't quite make enough money (3 times the amount of rent) they came back to me and said that if I put down double the security deposit that I could move in. So I did. Rent was due on the 1st, and I never paid it a day after the 1st. My second night at the apartment, there were 4 police cars with lights on in the parking lot. That happened 4 times in the 6 months that I lived there. The construction began and woke me up bright & early every morning. 3 months before my lease was going to expire, I called the office to inquire about getting a dog and how much it would cost me. They told me there was a $250 non-refundable pet deposit and $300 fee on top of that for adding a pet to my lease. I asked them if they could work with me because I was already half way through my lease and maybe they would cut that fee in half but they said they will not. So two months prior to my lease expiring I had typed up a letter explaining that I would not be renewing my lease there. I was holding the letter to give to the office until 30 days before my lease expired. 2 weeks before the 30 day notice was due, one of my immidiate family members became fatally ill and then passed away up in Minnesota so I flew out of town in an emergency. I called the Trillium office on the 3rd day after my 30 day notice was due to inform them of the situation and told them that I could have a friend bring a notice of termination letter down to the office for me because I was out of town. They told me that would be fine and that at the end of my lease, I would only be charged for the extra 3 days. So a friend of mine brought the notice to the office that day and when I returned from Minnesota on the 5th of the month, I returned my keys. The next thing that I heard back from the office was that I owed extra money (on top of the double security deposit that I put down) because they pro-rated me for an extra 5 days at that apartment. When I contacted Trillium about this and explained my situation, they replied to my email and told me that they could do nothing about the situation. I do not recommend getting an apartment here. I have been trying to work with them to do something about this situation, and all they care about is money. When I origianlly signed my lease and did the first walk through, anything that I noted in "good condition" they charged me for at the end of my lease. I was charged over $500 in cleaning and my apartment was in very good condition when I left! There are better apartment complexes that are willing to work with you and are what they advertise but Trillium is not. I rented from spring 10 through winter 11. ...

At the last apartment I lived in, I hated driving all the way to the dry cleaner to drop of my dry cleaning only to have to go back to the cleaners in the days following to pick up my clothes. I love that Trillium Deer Valley has the Garments on the Go feature. I never have to worry about forgetting to pick up my dry cleaning before work. It just arrives at the great room twice a week for me to retrieve. I rented from fall '07 through fall '08. ...

Trillium Deer Valley has been such a fun place for me to live. I am so sad that I have been relocated out of the phoenix area. Everything has been so easy for me here. They have weekly events in the common areas that has allowed for me to really get to know my neighbors and feel safe and happy living around them. The Gym area is awesome and has everything I need to stay in shape and ITS FREE! I would definatly reccommend trillium, it has been great. I rented from winter '07 through fall '07. ...

Trillium is by far the best apartment community I have ever experienced. I LOVE the lifestyle that are so conveniently already incorporated. I rented from summer '07 through fall '08.
