This place is the worst. When we moved in august of 2006 we told the management our washer was not working correctly. Again in November we filled out a maintenance form and conveyed that the washer was not washing our clothing and had started to leak. The maintenance man came to look at it and said we could only wash one outfit in the washer at a time. In January of 2007 when we came back from winter break the water level had reach the top of the tub it was sitting in. Over the next few months the washer went down hill. In April of 2007 we had to threaten management that if it was not fixed our rent would be put in escrow with the city of Richmond court system. When the front door lock broke it took the maintenance man four months to fix it. When he came to fix it he tried to charge us $75 to replace it. The dishwasher only runs cold water and do not clean the dishes. The apartments are $585 per tenant and are not worth the money. I would advise students not to rent from this place because the management is fishy and will overcharge and try to charge you for wear and tear on a seven year old apartment.
