Cinnamon Tree

The management kind of sucks.

Cinnamon Tree is a great lower budget place to live. If you are looking to save a little money on housing and don't mind sharing a room this place is pretty good. The ward is great, the people are very nice, and because of how the apartments are set up there are always people just out your front door talking and doing stuff. I haven't been in a more social ward than this. The walk to campus isn't bad from here other than you have to walk up the RB stairs but there is a bus stop just around the corner if you have a buss pass. Overall this is a pretty good place to live.

I rented from spring '05 through winter '06.
I paid monthly rent of $215 during fall/winter for a shared room.
I paid monthly rent of $100 during spring/summer for a shared room.

By far the best value at BYU. Apartments aren't huge, but they aren't tiny either and the rent is cheap. When I was there, the ward was pretty cool and the Landlords (or the management) was understanding with late fees. The parking was never a problem.

I rented from spring '04 through winter '05.

Not too bad if your into guys with parts, tight pants, and Napoleon Dynamite-esk dance moves. The apartments are old, kind of hotel style. I didn't like the social life because I'm not into the BYU nerdy folks but if you're one of those this is the place for you!

I rented from fall '01 through spring '02.
