I had my own parking spot so thats easy, but becasue its so close to campus if you don't have a spot then you'll have to cruise for a few blocks to find one. The ward is older, more mature, and thus people are more interested in actually getting to know you and not being simply superficial. The apartments are great BUT if you are renting through TPM just be aware that you will have to hassle them for maintenance - but from my experience its like that almost everywhere.
