PARKING SUCKS. DONT MOVE HERE, your friends will get towed. trust me, no one ever wanted to come to my place b/c they didnt want to get towed. The white noise was a bunch of crap, walls were thin as paper...problems never got fixed. LOOK ELSEWHERE

I rented from fall '06 through summer '07.
I paid monthly rent of $625 during fall/winter.

Wow. Where to begin. My three friends and I signed a lease before the Villas where completed last year with promises about how this was pretty much going to be the best place to live in the C-Stat. Unfortunately, that was not even close to the case. For starters they tooted their own horn about the white noise sound suppression and the crazy thick walls and windows to help residents deal with the noise of the train that is literally 10 feet from my bedroom window. The white noise is a total joke and I'm pretty sure the walls are made out of construction paper because I can hear my neighbors sneeze through our connected bedroom wall. That is no joke. The materials used to in this place as so ridiculously cheap that it astounds me. And the staff they employee is by far the worse I have ever encountered at an apartment complex in my life. The office staff is so snobby that you feel like you are being judged as soon as you walk through the front door. And the maintenance staff is just sad. About a day after I moved in my front door stopped closing because the foundation is apparently shifting severely. So I called and requested that they come fix it, and there solution was to take an ice pick and hammer and chip away at the door to make it fit in the doorframe. Nicely done. And after a bunch of girls were sexually assaulted in their apartments last year Callaway decided to "beef up" security by installing new locks on all the doors. The bottom lock on our door has never ever worked. I called the maintenance staff to come fix it and I'm pretty sure they jiggled the door handle and then left, and guess what; it wasn't fixed. The best part is that sometimes if you pay your rent online, which by the way cost you an extra $15, get ready for some nasty red notes on your front door harassing you telling you that you have not paid rent, even though you have. And the parking. Wow the parking. My friends never wanted to come over to my place because they knew that the 5 visitor parking spaces would naturally always be full. But forget about visitors, I have had to park at the neighboring McDonalds before because there are about 30 parking spaces for 400 people. If you are new to the area and are looking for a really nice and solid place to live, let me suggest the Woodlands. Much nicer then Callaway, brand new, and amazingly cheaper.
