When we first moved in the place was absolutely nice. The carpets looked great the place was just painted and we were very excited. 10 months later -- WE CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE OUT. 1) the hallways to the apt. are disgusting. They are "cleaned" about once a month. (they just push the dirt and dead bugs around and spray something that smells nice that only lasts 30 mins, if that) 2) the pool when clean is nice, besides the concrete/broken rocks you have to walk on to get into the pool. Not too long ago they closed the pool for almost a week to clean it because it looked like swamp from where it had been so long. There is a group of people that go down there with alcohol and smoke while in the pool and it drives me crazy because I have to see and walk on all those butts when i go down there. 3) noise is AWFUL. I can here the people above me do EVERYTHING. I hear them walk non stop from the time i get up (6 am) to around 2 or 3 in the morning. I hear their music, their tv, their sex sessions, them talking, their dog running around non stop, and the consent hammering on the walls. 4)Parking isn't that bad, unless you work late. As soon as the clock hits 8 every single space is gone. 5) The community and people around here scare the crap out of me. There is a Cadillac that is coming in and out of the apt non stop. And he wont get out of the car till you leave if he sees you or knows you're there. I have actually seen him once, he was sneaking around back to someone else's apt i guess. I don't know, it's just creepy to me that you are here for 15 mins and gone an hour, here 15 mins and gone an hour at least 5 or 6 times a day. And wont let anyone see you. Also the people that used to live next to us (which they were kicked out in June) I have had to call the cops on because i could hear him over there beating her and I saw her with a black eye when she came over to see if i would help her carry some stuff to her car. 6)BUGS BUGS BUGS!!!!!! There are fruit flies or little gnats that are constantly flying around. We keep a very clean apt because I hate bugs and just nastiness in general. But these flies drive me up the wall. They come from the kitchen sink, I have done everything to get rid of them with no luck. There are either a bunch of nasty looking centipedes or some type of spider or huge cricket/water bugs always in here. We have had the exterminator guy come out here to spray, but they get worse after he's here. Its no use. When i check the mail after dark when i come in from work i pass at least 2 or 3 HUGE roaches. We have had only one roach in our apt. Which is i guess good for this place. Which is really sad. 7) Management, I don't really know much about them because when we first moved in she scared the hell out of me. She's really intimidating and I don't feel welcomed by her at all. I make my husband deal with her. Maintenance was okay at first, they seemed willing to fix what needed to be fixed. But as time went on they just quit caring or even showing up when they were supposed to be here. Emergency maintenance SUCKS. My husband accidentally locked us out of our apt. We called the emergency maintenance to see if they would let us in, we would gladly pay any fee to get it done. No one would answer or respond. We called them around 11:45 that night, we didn't get in our apt till 9 that morning. 8) We have no washer/dryer hookups or dishwashers. We pay 530 a month and if we renew our lease (which we are not) they are going up on their rent to 570 for water. NOT WORTH IT Over all, i would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay far away, save your money for a better and nicer place. I rented from fall '09 through fall 10. ...
