STAY AWAY FROM THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX. While the rent was cheap and parking was available, those were the only good things about living there. My apartment was perpetually infested with roaches, despite frequent visits by an exterminator & my use of bug killer. Utilities are shared for your entire building, which means even if you conserve energy, you still have to pay rediculous amounts for your neighbors excessive use and the building's poor insulation. When my A/C broke, it took them 2 days to respond and fix the problem. My oven broke the last month I lived in the apartment; I called several times to have it fixed but no one responded. When I moved in, the carpets were disguisting and they had not bothered to clean them. The front desk was rude and rarely answered or returned phonecalls. My neighbors were noisey and as a single young woman, I sometimes felt uncomfortable with the shady individuals who were hanging out and drinking in the parking lot late at night. The staff are so unprofessional, rude, and manipulative as soon as you sign a lease; don't be deceived by the facade they create when you're looking for an apartment. When I sent an avanced notice of my intent to move out, they claimed I had renewed a 6 month lease and that they sent me papers in the mail! As soon as I asked if I could please see the copies of this new lease, they backed off and let me move out the month that I intended to. Rather than sending my final utility bill to the address listed on the head of my advanced notice letter or contacting me via phone when my final utility bill was returned to sender, they sent my final utility bill to the apartment I had just moved out of!!! When I contacted the utility company, they said that the bill had been paid for by the apartment complex, so I assumed my account was in good standing. Instead of contacting me to pay the bill (which I would have gladly done as I have never been late on a bill or rent in my life), they sent the bill to a debt collector!! They were simply too lazy to pick up my phone or look through my file for an alternative address. I am embarassed for them when I truly realized how unprofessional they are.
