Village Green Apartments

Village Green Apartments in Akron, OH were nice at on time. However, the interior of the units have much to be desired in regards to any renovations since they were first built after WWII. The heat is free, but the units use radiators that cannot be adjusted and the temperature inside averages about 79 degrees all winter long. A small air conditioner unit is only in the living room area and does not put out enough cool air to get into either of the bedrooms. The property was recently bought out by a different management group. This new management has changed policies and refuses to enforce half of them. The people in the office are rude and unfriendly. Rent has been increased considerably in the past year. The only saving grace for this place is the maintenance staff who are always very friendly and willing to offer a helping hand. All in all...if you are looking for a nice place to live, this is not it.
