Regency Park Apartments

After looking at their "last available unit" in June, my husband and I opted for a sublease I found through craigslist. The property owners agreed to clean the apartment before we moved in but when we arrived there was mold growing on the windowsills, in the bathroom, the carpets were in terrible shape, and the kitchen reeked of Indian food. I was more than annoyed that I had to bleach and clean everything myself being three months pregnant. Recently we wanted to have dish-network installed. There is already a satellite hook-up so we figured there would be no problems. Wrong again - the property manager claimed to have not known about the previous satellite and would not let dish-network make the proper adjustments for the install. Furthermore, Regency lied about the cost of utilites. They have a deal with National Grid that allows them to charge for Gas in the summer when it is NOT being used. 35$ a month for a service we are not even using. All of these things have made me more than happy to be leaving in 2 months.

I rented from summer '07 through winter '08.
I paid monthly rent of $815 during fall/winter for a private room.
