I lived in a 2 bedroom apartment here for more than three years. When I first moved in the rent was $599. By the time I left I was paying $869. Maintenance is often slow to respond, if they respond at all, and generally perform stop-gap procedures rather than really fixing things. MAJOR ROACH PROBLEMS. HVAC caused leaks onto carpet at least twice per year. Cable and internet are included, but electricity here (on Piedmont Energy) is ridiculous, often running me $200 per month. Located on/near 2 bus lines, but the buses that pass here don't go far into campus, so make sure you know what building you're going to and whether the bus will take you there. I ended up paying $300/year for parking b/c the bus didn't go to the building I needed. Pool is not open 24 hours during summer--closes at dusk, so no chance for a night swim. Lots of families/kids in the community. On the up side, convenient to grocery store, best Mexican in town, and ABC store. I rented from fall '05 through winter '08. ...
