I have rented various apartments during my undergrad and graduate education. While I was initial turned on by the in unit washer and dryer and full kitchen, the paper thin walls and over inflated rent price does not make this location worth while. They do allow pets but you have no chance of recovering your deposit...even though the floors are all concrete and there is no carpet in the units for your animal to soil or ruin. Additionally, if your pets make noise if they hear other people when they are left alone, do not move into this building. You can literally hear people talking, watching TV, and using their space through the walls. I am not sure if it is because of the price of rent or the attitude of the tenants they get but, tenants would rather report you for noise complaints about television noise than ask you to turn it down(I would note that the volume was always at a reasonable level). You are guaranteed to hear your neighbors. The space is pretty average at best for all of the recent improvements to downtown Lincoln. Contractor grade cabinents, bathroom fixtures, and attention to detail ate to be expected. I will say that the heating and air was nice but most units only have one window located in the bedroom and makes for a depressing space especially during winter. No on site parking available. This makes the good heating and air important. I would have to say that the property management team is friendly but just remember that you will only deal with them when you cough up the rent check. ...
