You do not want to rent from these people. If you want anything fixed be prepared to do it yourself. Good luck getting any of your security deposit back. If you are looking for a neighborhood with gunfire, break-ins, and rapes this is the place for you.

All I can say is, good luck if you try to rent from GPA. They are the most unprofessional company that I have ever dealt with. There is a serious lack of communication within their company which eventually gets portrayed as a tenant problem. I would never rent from them again, or reccomend anyone to do so. Customer Service is not part of their vocabulary...anytime you call you will be treated like a pile of dirt.

Obtaining a your security deposit refund will be a nightmare. They penny and dime you to death. The owner and the manager are never in communication so you get mixed signals all the time. The staff believes they are in control of your every action. Also most of the property they have in the north end looks trashy.

I have lived and rented in Columbia for 7 years now, and GPA was by far the experience I have had. Very RUDE staff, poor maintenance, unreasonable prices (they raise them every year). 45 Days to get my deposit back. If you call them to ask for help, they are extremely rude and act as if you are completely inconveniencing them. I ended up having to hire and pay people and do all maintenance myself. I am in the middle of a pending lawsuit with them, as well as several other tenants. I highly recommend AGAINST renting from any of their properties.
