1. The club house gym is run down, as in the weight machine is broken (it will fool you as it doesn't look broken). The cross trainer is an extremely old model and broken. The first treadmill will not go past 26minutes. The second treadmill is stuck on a slight incline. The upper body pull machine is broken. The bikes are either suboptimal or broken. Lastly, the place needs cleaning/dusting/vacuuming. I think they lazily forgot to clean during the whole winter season!
2. The apartments are inconsistent. Mine has old appliances compared to others. Of course, they will not be replaced until broken. My microwave has a dial and is tiny. My washer/dryer doesn't fit much clothes, so I end up wasting water washing multiple loads. If I put a big sweat shirt in it or heavy jeans, it will screw up the balance, and the it will make banging noises as it hits the insides of the machine.
3. The walls are thin. The upstairs bedroom is situated right on top of mine. It never fails with the ppl upstairs. They have to do their thing at 3am! Every time I am awaken by their bed creaking, I look at my clock and it relatively at 3am! I begin to wonder if that is their regular bed time. Even if I go to the living room, their bed creaking will echo. That is how bad the sound transmits through these walls. When I move out this summer, I'll be moving to an apartment that is not stacked like this.

I rented from fall '06 through summer '08.
I paid monthly rent of $540 during fall/winter for a private room.
