I love this apartment. I love the view and the location is everything. Right across from the hospital and grocery store. The staff is very polite and it’s very quiet and peaceful. I am single with no kids so this apartment has been great to me the past couple of years ...

My stay at Woodward North wasn’t the most pleasant. I wouldn't recommend it anyone and regret not listening to reviews posted online. They were all far to accurate to our own experience. Having a fire station less than a block down the street is bad enough (sirens sounding at all hours of the day) without having the cops there constantly do to loud tenants, petty crimes, stabbings, drugs, cars being vandalized and peeping toms. Around the first or second week of moving in, a family moved into the room above us. This family took to running laps around the apartment at all hours; day and night. At first, I thought it to be a heard of elephants. Then I quickly realized that what we were hearing was a continuous game of tag. Coupled with the running and continuous arguing was the feeling that we were about to have the thin ceiling fall in on us. One of the family members loved to play shooting type video games with the sound way turned up. Mind you, these are extremely thin ceilings. One could easily compare the intensity to how it would feel living in an Iraqi war zone. Machine-guns blazing, missiles launching…the whole nine. I wrote complaints on a weekly basis. Only to be laughed at by the staff. They did nothing. Regardless of how many times we filled out complaints, called the police or tried to reason with Melissa and Jason, nothing was done about it. Till one day when we were told that we could move to a different apartment. Like that was a solution. We were supposed to take the time to box up all of our belongings, lug them to the new room to then unpack them and go about our lives. Like it was that easy and would only take 5 or 10 minutes. This situation continued the entire time that we were there until that family left. A month later another resident moved in. This time we were treated with Loud salsa club music from morning to night. Fun! Luckily we were able to talk to those tenants and they realized how thin the ceiling and walls in this place are and kept the volume reasonable. This place is not worth living in. The regional manager Kelly is hard to work with. She makes statements like ”I will call you Monday morning around 10am” then never bothers calling. The joke around the building is that she is paid to say β€œit is our policy to not………..” Jason and Melissa, the onsite staff, do the bare minimum. They don’t take their job seriously and forget that their decisions or lack there of, affect the home life of every one of their tenets. The entire Woodward North apartment community suffers do to their lack of caring. I've lived in many apartments and college dorms and this is BY FAR the worst place ever. My car has been keyed, someone tried to break in to my place, and one of the front doors doesn't work since someone tried to break in to that one too. Seriously, DO NOT LIVE HERE OR TRY TO WAIST YOUR TIME FITTING ANYTHING IN THE ELEVATOR. IT IS SO SMALL A SHOPPING KART BARELY FITS. I rented from summer '09 through summer 10. ...
