I would not recommend this apartment complex. The location is convenient, which is its best attribute by far. The place is overpriced for what it is (an old building with lots of maintenance problems). In addition, they do not return security deposits. I actually had to go to small claims court to get mine back. There are other apartment complexes in the area that are more trustworthy and more affordable.

I rented from spring '04 through spring '10.

The price of these apartments are much higher than any others in the area and the only reason why we deal with it is for the pool and the location. In 2008 my wing of the building spent 3 months, mon-fri with no water from 9am till 4pm because the owner was trying to build a bar downstairs and couldn't get the plumbing right. There are tons of water pipe leads in the apartments along the north hallway leaving plaster falling in and living room floods. Maintenence has been slow repairing heaters(electric and expensive to use) windows and water damage because the owner is too busy having them work on their bar. We also have to pay $50 a month for parking, and there isn't always a parking spot left because they don't care if their bar customers, workers and other people park there. We also pay $20 for internet service provided by the apartment management that works once in awhile because the signal is so weak and they're constantly repairing the routers. I don't recomend living here at all and plan on leaving as soon as my lease is up
