I think it's ridiculous how the management raises the rent over the % legally allowed. Raised $500 in 3 years and I have low income status. Not for nothing...they want rent amounts the same as luxurious new apartments built nearby that have movie theaters swimming pools, gyms and tennis courts for amenities. I am grealful for the laundry room here but??? ...

The office manager DOES press people for a good survey. Many go along with it because they are scared they'll be pushed out of there home somehow. Maintenance has entered my home (while I was there) without notification. Tenants believe that this can happen at any time. No privacy. Feeling unstable about your residency and causing extreme anxiety. Elevators constantly out of order. Even over weekends and holidays. There are 6 floors and elderly and disabled tenants that need to get meals and have services. They are unable to have basic needs met. The elevator issue here has been ongoing for about 2 years now. There used to 1 parking space per unit. Now they want you to pay about $100 a month for it. Visitor parking was taken away. Anybody in need of medical or social services at home don't have comfort in knowing that their service's vehicles will not be towed. Relatives and children of residents on holidays are not allowed to park on property. There is a designated area in the back of the parking lot used for visitors since this property opened. My son has been towed while visiting here. ...

The new management here is hard to deal with. As residents we are disrespected and spoken to like we are a lower species. The elderly and low income residents are constantly bullied. Made to feel as though they could lose their housing if they stand up and speak about how things TRULY are as a tenant here. Tenants are blamed for things they don't do constantly. When we go to the office for something we are ignored and left to stand in the hall while the manager is in there. Packages have been held in the office for months without notices even when she's asked if you can pick it up because you know it's there. Several times I had to reorder expensive gifts thinking that they were stolen or never delivered. It seems like the longer you've lived on the property the more management makes you purposely unsure and anxious. Some residents have been here for 30 years. They were forced to believe that they will have to leave. Then have no choice because the rent is suddenly raised to $200 2 years ago. She wants to raise mine an Xtra $310 this March 2022. She refuses to move a tenant on social security to a one bedroom apartment after his mother died. They lived here over 20 years. Management here won't sign a lease for him. He's living here month to month not knowing when he'll be told to leave because there's no legal contract to protect him. I need to stress to everyone that Winn Co overall is an excellent company. The corporate management has been willing to listen to tenants here. But we feel our concerns are not being dealt with. There have been complaints for several years now about Hennesse Gomes the office manager here on this property. Even people who have worked here have complained about how she speaks degradingly to them. One was a veteran and left after he told corporate and there was nothing done...he quit after a month. I have never experienced or even heard of the things that residents have to deal with while living here. ...
