Calypso Bay is the worst decision I could have ever made. The apartments are so overpriced for Gretna, the office staff and management are awful, and there is no assigned parking. People end up parking all over the grass, running into each other's cars, and blocking you so you can't get out your spot. The security gate does not provide much privacy and security since it is broken half the time. You think you are paying for customer service and security, but you might as well be flushing your money down the toilet. Trust me, it looks pretty and relaxing from the outside, but try to deal with the management--it's a nightmare and completely not worth it.
