I rented from the Legends and it was the worst year of my life! Where to start well Its far from campus and their bus system sucks!!! there was always Parties and I could never get a good night sleep and lets not forget to mention all the glass and people around the pool all of the time! My bedroom window had ice on it in the winter on the inside and then created black mold around my window and I was told it was supposed to be there! And lets not even talk about all of the overages and then when you go to try to talk to a manager about it he could careless and wants nothing to do with women it took my father calling him for him to even call me! ...

I have lived at Legends for two years and I renewed again for next year. I absolutely love it here. There are a lot of bike trails in west Lawrence right around the apartment complex and Clinton Lake is right down the road! I can be active and be a part of Lawrence, and still feel like I am at home with beautiful trees and lakes and bike trails! I rented from fall '06 through spring '08. ...

They went through management changes during my time there, but despite staff changes they were consistently friendly and involved in the KU school spirit. I was proud to say that I lived at Legends. My friends and I loved the layout, having our own bathrooms and the convenience of the utility package. And the pool and hot tub is a great place to hang out with everybody.
