Rolling Ridge is the name of the road. The name of the community is Millennium Apartments. I lived at Fountain Park Apartments for over 2 years, they charge quite less and still provide way better customer relationship management than Millennium Apartments. Millennium has gifted me with the WORST experience I have had with a leasing company in Bloomington. The management seems to excel in providing the lowest quality of service possible while taking every possible opportunity to extort money from the residents when they can. - I went without cable for 3 months because their internal communication is worse than a game of Telephone. After over 7 visits and countless emails to the manager of the property, all they had to do was connect a wire in one of the external cable boxes to resolve the issue. It took them 3 months! - If you decide to live here, expect to find random unsolicited papers hanging outside of your door to warn you for things you don't even do. In some cases, they will also ask you to replace things in the house which they should have taken care of by themselves. - When I signed the lease, I didn't know that the higher price they are charging for the rent includes continuous lack of empathy towards their residents! I am quite disappointed with this leasing company and will advise people to not rent here unless they are renting the apartments out for free. Maybe even then, use caution. I rented from fall 2015 through winter 2016. ...

I agree with previous comments. Everyone I know who has lived here says that the management will take advantage of you financially when you leave. I have not had major problems living here, but it is not an ideal location for a student, as it is 3 miles west of campus and there's really nothing around except a walmart. If you want to take the bus to go anywhere from the west side, think again. There is only one bus that comes here and it comes once per hour and not on Sundays. Many apts are located on a route frequented by buses if you need that. The amenities center is quite nice, but I never use it. Thus, I'm paying a very high price for an average apt. that is not convenient for me. I fully expect to have them attempt to charge me for everything under the sun when I leave. Also, because the buildings are very poorly insulated for being so new, your electric bills will be through the roof! On the plus side, the parking is great. You and any guests will have ample room to park near your apt. Unfortunately, the cons far outweigh the pros in my opinion. I would recommend this place only if you aren't concerned about financial issues. I rented from fall '06 through fall '08. ...

These are attractive looking apartments and the indoor swimming pool is great, but you should be careful of management. I think they see you as someone to take advantage of financially. You may not get much (if any) deposit return. They may try to charge you for damage that was there when you moved in (such as replacing an appliance that had a small dent in it), so be sure to show them the move in report. Pay your rent directly to them because from several postings and my own experience they may lose your check. I paid on time for years, but near β€œChristmas time” they notified me of eviction for unpaid rent. They claimed to have e-mailed and to have called about the problem. I keep all e-mails and phone messages, but no message was to be found from them. Their reply to me was β€œ... we have no obligation to notify you of unpaid rent.” Finally, be careful of their partial basement apartments. I and another person have had problems with mold. Any wall that is up against the earth may be problematic. The wall area in my bathroom closet near the earth had visible mold. I also had visually evident mold caused by a breach in my wall near my bedroom closet (again). After their attempted repair (where they left dust and dry wall all over my things), I had my apartment checked for mold by a specialist who found β€œblack mold” spores. I feel that these apartments had been making me and the other person (including her baby) ill. After leaving, I no longer take allergy medication, and I’m not waking up in the morning having breathing difficulties. Now I need only to replace the moldy items that were damaged and irreparable. ...

This is the third apartment I have lived in, and I have to say that it is the worst! The walls and floors are paper thin and the management doesn't care. If you like to listen to music or have a few friends over for a good time, you can forget it unless you want the cops called on you. And they are really quick to write disorderly conduct tickets without witnessing anything themselves. Management does nothing to mediate disputes between neighbors -- they have your money, and thats all they care about. *****Young adults and college students***** -- DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I thought it looked nice in the beginning too, but its not worth it. You can't have fun in your own apartment. I rented from fall '07 through fall '08. ...

Maintenance is slow and incompetent. They would break more than they fixed. Office people were rude. I rented from summer '06 through summer '07.

I actually lived in Adam's Grove apartments, but they are under the same management. I just want to say that these apartments come off as very nice, but you will get taken advantage of when you move out. I was charged $263 on moveout for an apartment that was in close to perfect condition. Please check out other apartment rating sites. You will find that many people have the same complaint. Just don't rent from Millenium if you want to avoid a headache. I rented from summer '06 through summer '07. ...
