the location was awesome, right by some of the best nite life in the city. close to the red line as well as some of the coolest bars i've been to in the 5 years i've lived in chicago. so in that respect this place was alright. the woman who was the head leasing agent (i believe her name was dolly) was the worst leasing lady i've ever dealt with. she was extremely rude to my boyfriend & i the whole time we lived there because of our dog. we lived there right before they changed the rules to only small dogs in the building & this woman treated all the people who owned larger dogs (this included my 55lbs. bulldog as well as golden retrievers & labs)like complete crap. if you own even a cat i would recommend ANYWHERE other then this apartment. my neighbors had a cat & from what they told me it was just as bad. my other major complaint about this location was that overpriced parking garage they had on site. the people working there constantly stole everything from change to my dog's extra rabies tag. they've also dented my car 3 times & one time i went to get my car in the morning to drive to class & there were key marks all over my hood. in short - if you have a pet or a car; do yourself a favor & look into renting a flat instead. for the same price they charge for rent you can a very nice flat without all the b/s of this place that will be much larger square footage wise. I rented from spring '02 through spring '03. ...
