Noise - walls are a problem, and it's not just a part of apartment living. There are numerous complexes throughout Chicago that have firewalls between each apartment. The concrete barrier also acts as insulation against noise. I've lived in such apartment communities, and unfortunately neglected to ask when I leased here. If AMLI @ Kirkland had concrete construction it would be a huge improvement. There are much MUCH cheaper rentals with far superior value that are much more convenient in location.
