CRIME, DOGS, NOISE, FAIL! This place is poorly run. They will let anyone in. The neighbors who moved in downstairs have already experienced a drug-bust including drug-sniffing dogs. The building across from us had a bust last winter (2011) which included over 13 police officers (we couldn't count the undercover ones). Our previous neighbor upstairs, was some sort of sex fiend, inviting prostitutes into his home at least twice a week. The noise was horrendous. Speaking of noise, there are parties every weekend, very large barking dogs in about 45% of the apartments, and nobody here knows when to replace a fan belt. The kids that live here are the spawn of -----. They destroy the grounds by dumping trash in the ponds, and once threw the park bench off the dock onto the frozen lake. They bump cars, ride loudly on skateboards, and abuse their pets in the open. Staff is no better. They are uncaring and lazy. They are VERY friendly but the courteousness stops there. Maintenance is shoddy. They cut corners, use cheap materials and mickey mouse EVERYTHING. The appliances are Ropers (nuff said). The grounds are unruly, which is BIZARRE considering a gas powered lawn equipment interrupts my thoughts at least three times a day. If someone slams a door in the building, the whole thing shakes. There is dog feces everywhere. When I moved in, there were holes in the door, water damage in the walls, fixtures that had been chewed by the previous owner's pet, the doorknobs were rusted, and you could see where they had changed to a cheaper paint (because even though the touch ups were similar, they were not an exact match). Also, when I moved in, they promised the building would eventually convert to a smoke-free building. Its been 16 months and they continue to let smokers move in as recently as 3 months ago. They also promised that there would be free wi-fi in every building. Again, 16 months later, and I finally had to buy it for myself. I could go on, but I would hope that at this point you would understand that this is really not an ideal place to live. I rented from fall '09 through summer 11. ...
