This apartment complex is pure crap. Like the other apartment complexes in the area, they cater to college students. Unlike the other apartment complexes, this place is poorly managed, disturbingly neglected, and they come oh so very close to false advertising. They advertise $475 a month but then when you go in, they say that's for low incoming people only. Except we're all college students so we qualify right' NOPE! That only applies to non-students! So instead you get to pay $1200 for 4 small ass bedrooms that can barely fight a twin sized bed in with a desk, very little closet space, and a kitchen with a stove and refrigerator that was probably brand new during your parents time in college. The $200 commission for referring someone that signs a lease' Yeah, they don't honor that either as my friend found out. You sign paperwork. They don't give you a copy. Then say they have no copy of it. Shady as hell. During my 8 month tenure here, the apartment complex has done little to nothing in regards to keeping up the common area much less shoveling the pavement. Dog crap everywhere, loud music playing and drunken shenanigans abound in this barely decent complex. When you go into the main office and ask to speak to a manager, you get brushed off by the receptionist or told that there aren't any around currently and to leave a message and they'll get back to you. Except they never do. By the way, don't be fooled when you see the model apartment. It's pretty obvious they'll do the good ol' bait and switch on you. That one should be totally obvious. When signing the lease, don't forget the $500 down payment in which only half is refundable. Oh yeah, there's a mandatory $100 wireless internet fee PER PERSON for the year, regardless of whether you use it or not. I don't. It's pure ass. I can't watch a youtube video much less check my e-mail. Oh yeah... that wireless internet' There's no restrictions on it so people in the surrounding neighborhoods can use it too. They get it for free because of CCN's incompetance. You get to pay $100 a year. You're also required to be renter's insurance to insure your own crap. Do I care about my bed, desk, and tv, enough to pay an extra $40 a month for it if it gets ruined by a fire' Not really! But you have to have it so there's more money out of your pocket for living in this god forsaken hell hole. Last but not least, this is probably fairly obvious, but there's no leeway when it comes to them screwing you over. They will slap any sort of fees they can in any way they can. Don't bother arguing against it. You'll lose because they'll tell you to ---- off in much nicer terms. Enjoy! PS - To those that want to know why I'm living here, I transferred to WSU in the middle of the school year. I signed the lease without looking at the place due to my friend vouching for it. I hate him now. >:( I rented from fall '07 through summer '08. ...
