The apartments are old and beat up with a lot of crime, however the general area is very nice. The big problem is that management will come up with all kinds of ways to squeeze extra money out of you. For example, my lease expired so they jacked my rent up $200 a month.

I rented from winter '06 through summer '08.
I paid monthly rent of $1185 during fall/winter.
