First things I smelled walking into the apartment... Mold, the scent of a dark, dank kennel. The carpet had holes in it from a previous dog (and I stepped on a nail coming out of one of those holes). The carpet was filthy and stained. If you walked on it with bare feet or in socks, the bottoms would turn black in a matter of minutes.

The manager REFUSED to replace the carpet, but offered to "clean it again" (if it was cleaned in the first place at all..).

Maintenance is pretty fast and efficient.

I had to pay a pet fee of 350 (non refundable) for my kitten. I almost didn't want to pay it because the carpet was so far destroyed my kitten (who is declawed) couldn't do any more damage to it.

Never rent anything from Carriage House Realty... EVER!!!

I rented from fall '07 through summer '08.
