The management that runs this apartment complex is unprofessional and irresponsible. I had a concern with what was returned on my security deposit and tried to resolve the problem with the management directly. I left phone messages, and sent e-mails. Almost a month after my initial contact was made I had received no responses or replies. Only after contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint did I receive a response. The response which was cc:ed to the parent company (EAH, located in San Rafael, Ca.), and the UC Davis Student Housing was full of spelling errors, falsified statements of phone conversations, and some supplemental documents were supplied that were for the previous tenant in my apartment a year before me. The deductions made from my security deposit were in direct violation of the California Renters Code. Information for this can be found at:
Please if you are unsatisfied with the deductions from your security deposit, or any of the service provided by the management at this complex file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. You will need to file the complaint against their parent company (EAH) and it will only take a couple of minutes. The link is below.

It is great living on campus. The apartments are clean and in good shape. The office staff are always pleasent and helpful. Repairs are done quickly and alot of the time done in a short period. Rents here are much lower than other apartments in the area and it includes internet and cable. They have remodeled the commons and have a really nice place to study or reserve for events, they even have a PS2 you can check out. They also painted the buildings over the summer and the complex looks alot better. Parking is great it only cost $3.00 for the permit for the entire year, the only draw back is each apartment is only allowed so many but they do have a parking lottery for people that need one above what is allow for their apartments.

This place has a great location. Nothing beats living on campus. Rent is decent and parking isn't too bad depending on which side you live on. My only quirk about this place is management sucks and I honestly don't trust people entering my apartment. Also, who posts a 24 hour advance notice for entry that spans 2 weeks and then not come? Someone said they were going to check all apartments on the last day but no one showed up to mine. And when another person called to see why, management said it will be up to 6 to 8 weeks! ARE YOU KIDDING ME PRIMERO GROVE! They are very unreliable on getting things done on a timely manner and almost ALWAYS extends these maintenance checks.

It's a convenient place to live. The rooms are small, but they renovated the study and lounge areas, which are really nice. The new management sucks, but they do the job. The maintenance is awesome! Get in by rooming with a friend that's already living here!
