The Cathedral of Faith Church in San Jose provides a resume work shop to help homeless and low income residents obtain employment.
When community leaders suggested using federal grant money to bring these services to Markham Plaza Apartments, EAH Housing CEO Mary Murtagh and her attorney, Karen McCay claimed that Kenny Foreman, the Cathedral of Faith Pastor was planning to hijack an American Airlines jet and crash it into Markham Plaza Apartments.
They also claimed that Kenny Foreman had preached a \"series of threatening sermons urging Cathedral of Faith members to take up arms and go to Markham Plaza and kill as many of the residents and staff as possible. \"
I rented from fall 2011 through fall 2014.
I know several people including friends and family actually injured in the Markham Plaza attacks and to this day I know for a fact that the Sheriff department is still threatening people. My had his nose and glasses broken from being punched in the face and assaulted by a gang of thugs and staff members one of them actually pulled out a chain on one occasion and because of this my aunt could have died from not getting insulin and other needed medications and care. Attorney Karen McCay defended these attacks as did detective Carol who threatened countless citizens and it was all justified from supposed legal court order by judge Manoukian. Karen McCay is a sadistic evil person hell bent on hurting people and loves to cause them pain and misery who went out of her way and bent
over backwards to hurt and oppress the residents and strangle the life out of the Markham Plaza community and blocked the residents from accessing services and federal funding that they desperately needed. I have no doubt this gang caused others to die such as Michael on third floor and others who would still be alive to this day if not for these senseless judge Manoukian gang attacks. All because a group of organizations came together to protect a helpless brain damaged woman from being accosted and harassed by Elaine Bouchard, the meth head property manager.
I rented from fall 2010 through winter 2015.
Earlier this year, some Silicon Valley faith based organizations who were among the original first responders to the 2012 crisis at Markham Plaza apartments were considering holding a candle light vigal condemning EAH Housing oppression and violence. This idea was later dismissed due to fear of retribution by the Santa Clara County Sheriff\'s department. If a facebook events page was launched to advertise the vigal, the Santa Clara County sheriff\'s department would likely be monitoring the page and profiling the individuals who planned to attend. Those individuals and their families would likely then be subjected to harassment, threats and retaliation by the Santa Clara County Sheriff\'s department Mr. Cary Andrew Crittenden for example, was repeatedly stalked and terrorized by Santa Clara County sheriff deputies for his social media posts inwhich he adamamantly spoke out against violence. These bullying and intimidation tactics employed by the Santa Clara County Sheriff\'s department are to censor the speech, of those of us working to restore peace and stability to Markham Plaza Apartments (2000 / 2010 Montery Highway in San Jose - ground zero of county counsel\'s nuclear missile attack) By sponsoring the sheriff department\'s illegal thug like actions, court officials are jeopardizing public safety and the quality of life for residents, and further enabling criminal activity by EAH Housing, a toxic organization which has caused much cruel suffering. If people worry that law enforcement is monitoring social media, that will exert pressure for them to refrain from civic engagement and not to voice their opposition to violence if they fear that they too will be maliciously targeted by a sheriff department goon squaud. This unpresedented degree of police misconduct santioned and endorsed by court officials is likely to have a chilling effect on public discourse, a poisonous venom to the spirit of our democracy. - a hostile and fierce criminal trespass upon the sacred ground of our first ammendmant right to free speech and assembly which was established as a safeguard for \"We the people\" against this very same sort of government tyrany. The wounds inflicted on this community by our Sheriff department will leave shamefull hideous everlasting scars upon the region\'s otherwise beautiful history. These scars will never heal and will forever testify. As history remembers Al Capone, Bonnie and Clyde and other notorious gangsters, may history also remember the Judge Socrates Manoukian gang.
I rented from fall 2010 through winter 2014.
I would just go there to visit a friend who lived there. That place SUCKS!!! There seems to be a lot of crackheads, hookers, meth heads, and drug dealers that live there. I also know that some of the tenants carry guns (which is scary)! It seems like there is always drama going on there because every body talks shit about one another. There are some nice people there when they are taking their meds, but that place is just a vortex of shit!
Markham plaza has pigeon poop all over the stairwell and I lived there for 27 months and got sick all the time with fever and rashes. Nobody will clean it up and people still feed the pigeons. I moved out in September 2010 and my face stopped turning red and no more fevers. Domingo is a predator who follows females around and always got mad because I wouldn't let him come in my apartment and I wouldn't fool around with him and tries to lure women into his apartment so he can prey on them. Tghe managers know and say just ignore him and he was bothering one of the lady managers so bad she got scared of him and quit and he still lives there and steals womens underwear from the laundry mat. He walks around and picks up trash and cleans the birdbath but he wont clean up the pigeon poop and thats why I got sick. Guard your laundry and have a man with you all the time or go to laundromat if you have car because Domingo will steal your underwear out of the dryer and take it to his apartment and you will have to buy more underwear. The managers will try to steal your security deposit like they did to me and I went to project sentinel.
I rented from spring '08 through fall 10.
Please help do something yto the stop drug dealing that continues to happens at the Markam Plaza 2000 Monterey road appartment #213, San Jose, California 95112. His name is Pilar Cortez and he keeps on has been dealing drugs out of his appartment for long times and this is taking a serious toll and hardships for our community. This is very scary having young child and living very close. The managers know and donít do anything and he brags that he has Elaine the manager wrapped around his finger. He smokes crystal meth and stays awake for long times and walks around taking pictures in peoples windows with cell phone camera. The policemen and managers are too easy on him and wont do anything because he tells on people and gets them in trouble to buy favorites with managers and police patrols but he does whatever he wants with complete impunity and it is not fare to the other residence here and we are scared for legal abiding good citizens being terrorized and our childrens finding hyperdermic needles and exposed subjected to bad things every day these happens non stop! We have the right to live in safe and secure envirement without these things always happens here and we would understand better if managers and police did real effort to stop these things but we complain many times and nothing happens still and is very disappointing and makes us very angry always being ignored. We need neighborhood watch committee that we donít have and we are keep to try to get help for our community and make someone listen and we are frustrated for you still ignoring us and let our community get worse! I will write help letters to neighborhood associations and HUD and lots of committees and hope always that someone listen to us finally and do something to stop this crime to happen in our home. We cannot afford enough money to move to a safe place.
I rented from fall '08 through winter 11.
Well since I still live here, I have to do this annonymously. This place is discusting! I cant wait to get out of here. Im literally counting down the days, like im in Jail. It basically its like jail, With small spaces and no place to go. If you do go out somewhere there is just weird people talking to themselves and drug dealers walking around the hallways. Parking is terrible! People think that they can park where ever they want, The maintenance takes advantage of being a "staff" thinking they can park at "no parking" area's &&when confronted, they just make up another lame exucse to be able to get away with it. And maintenance arent even doing their job at all. If you ask for someting to be fixed in your house. Might as well do it yourself, because they wont get to it. If they do, They wont do it correctly. Or they tell YOU to do it, rather than them doing it already. Security here is a joke, Most of them look like they cant even protect themselves. Managers can careless and are rude. For anyone thinking about renting here, please dont. Your just going to wish that you wouldnt have wasted your money on a place like this.
